All our Churches came together on Sunday 26th July to say a huge thank you to Stasi, our Curate, as she leaves our Benefice and moves to Rothbury, where she will take up her new role as Rector of the Parish of Upper Coquetdale in Northumberland.

We send Stasi our love and prayers as she begins the next step of her ministry in this beautiful part of the country.

Welcome to our website for the churches in the Benefice of the Lower Swale. Our churches can be found in villages to the west of Northallerton in North Yorkshire.

The River Swale flows through our Benefice and we have named the two areas as ‘Eastern’ and ‘Western’ churches.

 

We are part of the Church of England in the Diocese of Leeds.
